Did you receive a letter from the University of California (UC) informing you of your Eligibility in the Local Context (ELC)?

If you did, your academic achievements have been recognized by the UC system. Based on your academic performance in A-G courses taken in the 10th and 11th grades, you are considered to be in the top 15% of your senior class at your high school. This is an outreach letter from the UC's inviting you to submit an application for admission.
Once all the applications are received by the UC's (deadline is November 30th), you will be notified by the UC's to determine if you are within the top 9% of your senior class. If you qualify, you are guaranteed admission to one of the UC campuses. Just to be clear, guaranteed admission does NOT mean to the UC of your choice. During the past few years, students qualifying for guaranteed admission have been offered admission to UC Merced.
